We would like to remind everyone that this is both a hiking and cycling trail. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the trail except for physically disabled folks’ powered chairs/scooters.

Cyclists are reminded to yield the right-of-way to pedestrians at all times. Walkers may not be able to hear you cycling up behind them, so please ring your bicycle bell or verbally warn them that you are there.

When cycling across the trestles please walk your bikes past other bicyclists and walkers.  The deck is too narrow for safe passing. Visitors have varying degrees of cycling skills and we don’t want anyone getting hurt.  Both cyclists and pedestrians have been injured by going off the decking and slipping between the ties.

Pets are welcome on the trail but must be leashed at all times. Be sure to bring water for them, especially on hot days.  And don’t forget to carry bags and clean up behind your pet.  All litter is to be taken with you when you leave.  There are no garbage cans in the park.
